Do you think this IM Q&A site has potential?

Hey,

I've made this site partly as a resource to view reviews of WSO's and IM products, but also as an IM Question/answer type site where answers can be voted on.

I'd appreciate some comments on how it can be improved and/or modified

Thanks,
Joe

It's been done before...There was a site called:

Easily Answered - Internet Marketing Questions Answered By Internet Marketing Experts

As far as I know that site didn't do so well, it hasn't been updated in a while. From what I can tell.

    Thanks for the response Nickolie!

I haven't heard of that before, thought it seems to have been done before I got into IM myself.

The difference is I am not charging for anything, and that that site seemed a bit clunky and hard to join?

Does anyone have any experience with that website?

To me it seems the initial concept is flawed. A site should be one of both, but not both at the same time.

First thing I'd do is to chose a new domain name for the Q&A site. The current name is very specific and a huge mismatch for the Q&A idea.

      Can this be successful?

      Absolutely.

But you have to be committed and have to put a lot of work into it. As with any other project that is meant to be a long time success.

People will not magically stop by and post their questions.

You'll have to start out with your own unique content. Then use the traffic and relationship building techniques described well in this forum.

It is not likely to be a huge success without commitment, action and a few creative ideas.

      So the next question is:

Is it worth it? Why would you want to do it? Do you know how to monetize it?

      Ralf
