Dog training niche: Finding affiliates

I have a complete online dog training course in the form of a fixed-term membership. I've tried building traffic generation via more conventional means before and though I've had some success with article marketing, link networks, facebook/twitter, etc, I've never gotten above 100 visitors per day to my other sites with these methods.

What I want to do instead with this membership site (responserevolution.com in case you wanted to check it out -- comments/critiques are MUCH appreciated!) is to pursue partners and affiliates. What is the best way to go about doing this? My ideas are:

- Brick-and-mortar pet stores with which I can trade online expertise for advertising and "sponsorship"
- Finding affiliates currently active in clickbank, paydotcom, and other markets who are already promoting dog products

Where do I look for online affiliates? I've been looking around clickbank but can't find a way to discover other affiliates (or more importantly their contact information). Are there other online networks/locations for affiliates to gather that I don't know about?

Thanks so much everyone.

To find affiliates then here's what I would do -

Go and find all the names of all your competitors/niche products over at clickbank, paydotcom, private affiliate programs. Jot down the names of the products and go over to google and start searching them.

    for example,

    "ultimate dog training blueprint +review"

You'll probably find marketers pushing the affiliate product. Contact them via their blog/site and share some of your conversion data, etc. Tell them your product converts better and you'll be paying more commission, etc.

Another way would be to search generic dog training terms in google and look out for blogs that seem to be building an optin list. Contact them via the site and tell them about your offer, etc.

    Hope this helps

      Hi,

I have an agility dog training niche site and I'd be happy to take a look at your membership program.

Have you contacted Affordable Agility and Clean Run? They might be interested.
