Domain names? Keep or Ditch? €$£

Hello all!

I was wondering I also have a couple of domains and was curious if they would be worth anything? Should I keep them or just ditch them.

As you can see i have a few lol I bought these over a couple of months when I first started my internet venture. I know they could be worth nothing but what do you think should I hold onto any or just let them expire?
Appreciate any input!

I think maybe one or two of those have some value, but the ones with spelling errors may as well be scrapped.

Be careful having trademark names as a domain.

I agree, be careful with trademark names.

If you've got no use for them, you might as well let them expire. It's only good to purchase names when you've got a product that needs the name or if you're site flipping. If you're not, I'd get rid of them.

Agreed, I bought some of them with the intention of developing them into something just haven't got around to doing it. Again this was when I was first starting out so I didn't even think about trademark bought "Cadbury.me" waste of money lol

I don't think there's anything there with value.

I used to buy domains and keep them until I get time to build next big thing. Now I don't buy any until I'm ready to execute the idea.

Really, would you not buy a domain for a future investment?

Clearly, many of them are a legal minefield ...

The one that catches my eye is gymsupplements.info, which I think might be worth more than its original reg-fee. I've seen .info names like that changing hands for $5 - $10 or so, I think.

And might it be worth trying to sell Fatherted.tv to the BBC for some token amount rather than letting it lapse? (Maybe not - because maybe they can take it from you anyway, legally ... but for the sake of £5 or £10 or so, they might make an offer?!?).

Yes was quite impressed with that one Fatherted was trying to be smart as I heard america are bringing out a version of the show. I could of spent money on worst things I figure

Well ... possibly. I think the problem is that you don't own the rights to commercial use of the name, and someone else almost certainly does (though this also seems to apply to many of your domain-names!) ...

I'd hate to see him disapprove ...

I have actually never seen the show, but had heard of it.

But if I develop the website with a completely unrelated niche then I would have the right to own it? Say I had fatherted and developed a site about books... ha
          Am I right here?

You already have the so-called right to own them, though your ownership for
some of those domains can be disputed anyway. The problem here is you can
not use some of them without possibly confusing people with their trademark
            namesakes.

Seriously, try putting an unrelated niche on, say, GOOGLEMEMILLIONS.INFO or
MICROESOFT.INFO, then ask maybe 5-10 people what's the first thing coming
into their minds the instant they see those domains. Don't be shocked at what
            some of them say.

As for the other domains that (hopefully) don't have any word/s being used as
            a trademark, hard to say.

Those are low quality sites and I suggest that you focus on one site if you haven't made any money online yet.

The domains that are a trademark infringement aren't worth anything but a big headache. A couple of them could be worth something if you actually developed a site on them.
