How do you wire a one time offer into your download free ebook page?

When Aweber directs them to a thank you/download your free ebook page, how do I then add a one time offer into the process?

Thanks

  • In Aweber chose the custom URL instead of their thank you pages, then you create your oto page on that URL with the download link for your free book.

    Easy as that

Let me know if you want some more help with this.

Thanks - do you have an example?

I just thought they could get confused if they see a download link at the top of the page and then a headline below for the offer. If they clicked the buy now button then I wonder if they could forget to download the free ebook.

  • yep, head to simondoddmarketing.com and you can see it in full glorious action I wouldn't worry about them forgetting to download the free book if they have bought your oto! the free book is just to build a bit of trust with them before they buy. I forgot to mention you should have what is called a stop or confirmation page. so they opt in and see a page that says go check your email for your download link but also has a oto on it. then once they have clicked the link in the email they will go to the download page which can also have a oto on it... I have various different ones, some just have a stop page with no offer and others have an offer on the stop page.

Hope that helps, drop me a pm if you want and we can have a skype chat to help you out.

I didn't create that page btw, it was given to me as part of a training course but it is a good example.

I'm not sure what you mean but here's how i do it.

Let's say someone subscribes for a free ebook through a squeeze page and once they subscribe to get the free bribe I send them directly to the one time offer. Which means that in the aweber settings I enter the url of the one time offer.

If they don't want to take the one time offer they have a link at the bottom of the page to go and download the free bribe. I also send a follow up email with the link to the free bribe just in case they miss it on the one time offer page.

    Here how this works:

Subscribe ===> one time offer ===> free bribe

Or if you're using double op-tins.

Subscribe ===> confirm email, once they confirm===> one time offer ===> free bribe.

    Hope this helps

    Olson.
