Hello Everyone,

I've been marketing online full-time for the last 4 months. Considering purchasing e-mail leads to accelerate my list building. Please let me know your thoughts and opinions. If you have any reputable companies or experiences, please let me know.

Thanks,
Ken J.

Personally I'd go with the traffic buying yourself and convert to optin. There are
a lot of scams around and the conversions aren't that great.

You could try some co reg but not all that good from past experience.

Go and have a look in Warrior Joint Ventures section of the forum and see if
anyone has a list you can mail to

    Hope this helps

I buy leads extensively and do bulk email heavily to build my lists. However, it is not recommended if you're just starting out. There are other options you might want to consider first such as sending solo ads to targeted ezine publishers for your niche. Check out the JV Forum as mentioned for warriors that can run solo ads for you, or even do some list swapping.

Most of the threads on that here and most of the replies you'll probably get will say it's a horrible idea to buy leads.

However, I can tell you that there's definitely good money to be made in buying leads, but it's not as easy as a lot of people think. It requires a lot of work, a lot of offers you have to mail (not just your own), special relations with good autoresponder companies, and the ability to test a lot of different lead sources at once.

If you're brand new to this, I'd maybe wait. If you already know a fair amount in e-mail marketing and can burn a few thousand in testing, then you're probably ready.

Otherwise PPC, banner advertising, etc. for your own leads is a good start.

I would shy away from buying leads, because the list you're buying doesn't know you and are more likely to treat your email as spam. Try JV with someone who has a list that would match your product.

Yea try to get your own traffic first so you can see how everything works, you don't want to pay for something that you don't know alot about.
Also I don't really think it's smart to buy leads because if they were good leads why wouldn't they just do it themselves and keep all the money?
