turning a small ebook into a powerpoint

Hi,

I want to turn a small ebook into a powerpoint presentation, but I can't get my silly little brain around the best way to do it.

Should I read the ebook first, then produce the slides based on the content or summarise the ebook into the powerpoint then read the ebook?

I've got serious brain ache on this one. What method do you use?

    I would recommend just highlighting major points of the eBook.

    Split the chapters into separate slides and then put about 5-6 different points on each slide.

    I can't see how you could possibly turn a book into anything without reading the book first.

        Okay, so should I record the whole thing first, then make some slides to summarise and then record, just making sure i get it all synced correctly?

    I agree that a summary with points would work best. Too much text on each slide will distract the reader. You can get some great free templates at poweredtemplates dot com too!
