Good day Warriors..

I really like to get your honest opinion. Am new to the website flipping biz. My website just ended unsold on flippa. Here is the list link https://flippa.com/134905-Hot-Niche-...omated-Low-Bin
I have been wondering why this site didn't sell, not even a single bid. I will like you to take a look and tell me what i didn't do right, what i need to do, what you general think? and also what i can do to get more bid?

I would say the biggest factor has to be the absence of site revenues. Since your website is one-month-old, I would expect at least some AdSense revenue to show for this time period. Moreover, from a design point of view, your homepage is not impressive enough with simply one article stacked above the other. You really should think about reducing the size of homepage by limiting the number of articles displayed over there.

    Just my two cents

Personally I would not change the theme I think there are a TON of people out there who want solutions.

So offer them solutions in the way of products they can buys such as the picture of that mouth device you have.

Unless I missed where you have products for sale.

I don't think there's any grave need to change the theme but I would definitely suggest showing less articles on homepage.

If that is not possible, then try reducing the number of words displayed under each article.

I went to your site saw Stop Snoring Devices and thought for SURE the next page would have a list of say 3 or 4 devices with the name of each in bold and a buy now button to get them.

    Why not?

The articles have no bold type to break things up. In my opinion you had me at the title of some of them but that only gets a person to read the next line BUT that line has to get you to read the next one and so on.

Also the grammar/English is not correct. There are sentences which should end in a question mark that do not. The title of the third article is not grammatically correct nor attention getting(IMO it is ok to break the grammar rules if it is in the interest of getting attention)

    Best of luck with this!

-You are averaging only about 3 unique visitors per day
-Your site is not making any money

Start up sites don't sell much on Flippa from my observation. Many buyers that go on Flippa tend to have good money to invest. Show them something that'll be worth it.

I don't know if you've made improvements since originally posting, but I think you've been a tad bit unlucky. I've seen sites with much less content selling for a few hundred - or at least $100.

You could have added more info on the Clickbank products in your sales copy...

It's difficult to say with Flippa these days. It seems more like a scratch-and-win situation than other ways of making money.

Final thought: I've gotten the idea that "easy traffic" sites sell better than others on Flippa. Buyers are looking for investments where they can do the minimum work and get some return, rather than buying businesses they have to run.

Good luck with your next sites. I thought your site looked fairly decent.

I had the same problem in the beginning. The sites need to be making money before anyone would consider it. Give the sites time, work on SEO/OPSEO and conversion and then post the stats. It will sell after you can show traffic and income.

Yes, what defines how your site is worth is definitely how much it has earned in revenue in the previous months, you can even do PPC just to get even with what you spend, you willl still be able to sell the site much faster at it'll have a history to show with earnings even if it isn't from organic traffic but from paid one. This is a very important factor. Always get your websites making something, one way or another.

Sites with revenue tend to go for quite a bit more. For us, we tend to monetize via AdSense until it gets up close to a maximum it can earn for a couple of months and then sell it on Flippa. Most of our buyers:

    a) Want to buy it to keep the passive residual income
    b) Think they have a product or affiliate link they can add to the site to greatly increase revenue
    c) Want to expand with more content to improve earnings.

Your extras providing content are valuable, but not so much if it doesn't earn anything. Buyers would be scared to buy from you and end up with a flop.

We provide help for selling and monetizing sites at the site in our sig, AdSenseFlippers.

    Hi,

I think you should re open the auction and upgrade to featured listing on last 24 hours before your auction closed and open the auction only for 3 days.

I just sold my first auction on flippa and it work for me. My auction got 6 hours extended from Flippa because my auction have new bid on the last hours.

Barely any traffic. You just built the site. No revenue. Why would someone want it is the question.

I understand that a site with revenue or traffic is the real deal. But i have seen site on flippa with that is not unique either content or design, with no traffic or revenue been sold. A lot of people on flippa sell start up site, i really don't have the time to manage the site, that why i want to flip it. I would even prefer to generate some revenue so i can sell for a higher price. At least i have done some work on the site, which over time will generate more traffic and revenue. The site is a potential. It just that am don't have the patience to wait....

Your question just gave me an insight, so i will have to offer something more valuable to make someone want it...isn't that good enough?

People are looking for proof what you have is good.

for me, I have done well on flippa cause I follow this formula.

    1) the more you tell the more you sell.

    2) Get back to people within 24 hours.

    3) Use videos to show users the site and traffic so you cant cheat or fake shots.

Follow these tips and you will do well i am sure.

What was your original reserve and did you pay to feature it? I'd suggest not worrying about losing money if this is your first auction. List it for $1 with no reserve and pay to feature it in the last 24 hours. You have no real history on Flippa so your first sale will be a great way for you to get some feedback, experience, etc.

Thanks for your advice, i got your point but the reason i want to sell the site is because i need the money to fund another project. If not, i would like to keep the site...I was think about reducing the price a bit and adding more benefit? I didn't feature the listing but i got over 50 view, i don't know if paying to feature will make it sell or rather use the money to re list it?

Your site is on Google page 3 from where I'm searching. Looks like you could get it to #1 easy. Be patient, get it to rank #1, in Google, Bing and Yahoo. Use that as your pitch. It will sell that way.

Check your on page SEO it looks a little wacky. Example: The home page title looks like this: The Idea Treatment For Snoring. Just use Treatment For Snoring. Fix your on page and you'll get to page one. Good luck.

The Flippa buyers have become clever and no longer are unprofitable websites or sites with no income getting sold or finding buyers. If you need some proof, check out the following link which shows the just sold websites on Flippa; almost all these sites have profit and the ones that don't are valuable domain names:

    https://flippa.com/just-sold

So the moral of the story is that don't spend your money listing on Flippa if your site doesn't have profit. You are better off trying to sell on DP or DnForum for a lower price than getting burnt on the listing fee.

I think one of the reasons this is happening is after Flippa changed their rules to exclude the word Guaranteed Profits from the listing description because many newbies were falling for the trap.
