What are the best ways to pay for traffic?

I'm already doing some PPC but I want to pay for traffic to squeezepages.

I've recently started outsourcing articles so that helps as well.

But what other good ways are there to spend a few hundred or a few thousand dollars for traffic to squeezepages?

Thanks in advance.

I would suggest media buying... but in a different way. Find sites that rank in the top of the search engines for your desired keywords and approach them about buying banner space on their site (above the fold).

There's a lot more numbers to this to be successful.

    Hi:

    Shireen here :-)

I've stop paying for traffic. Basically I use ebay to generate traffic to my sites.

I'll print my website url on the envelope & send it to my customers after they've made the payment.

    Hope it helps :-)

If you're looking for legit, targeted traffic, PPC and Facebook Advertising is probably your fastest bet, as K_tir already mentioned.

If you really just want traffic you can use adf.ly but this is just random traffic. So...you wouldn't be able to actually gauge the commerciality of the niche you're in with a method like this.

If you want the free route, keep backlinking. The search engines will give you traffic in time if you make the right links. Get blog comment backlinks, forum backlinks, profile backlinks, article backlinks, submit stuff to RSS directories, social bookmarking, social media, .edu backlinks...

The best way is to pay for solo ads. Look out on Warrior JOint Ventures forum with a lot of such offers.

Once again, I sincerely appreciate everyone's input.

Allow me to expound a little further:

I'm already getting good traffic, and I know my niche is profitable, which is why I am able and willing to pay for more traffic.

I don't mind if it "costs a lot", so long as it is effective and low on time-consumption... So that rules out eBay and Facebook for me.

I don't actually have websites, just squeezepages, so I'm not really looking for SEO or backlinks at all.

The problem with free methods is that they are time-consuming, so I really want to pay for someone (or something) else to do it for me.

Can someone tell me more about "Solo Ads"? Yes I will search the forums and then Google the term as soon as I post this, but I would still like your feedback.

    Thanks in advance!

I forgot to mention another reason I avoid Spambook... Most of my prospective customers are not on Facebook.
