I came across this site when someone put it on twitter.

This is a way for you to buy your food for $30 or less. They also take food stamps.

From having spent some time on the site, it is an Church organisation, but anyone regardless of race, religion, financial position are able to use to buy their food from.

I have purchased the Angel Food products, and they are really good - not just junk.

Also, if you know someone in need, there is almost always food left over after everything is given out (that people paid for).

If there is a church that has this ministry, you can refer people to them and see if there is anything that the church can give them.

The church I used to go to handles angel food. The members volunteer to go there at 6am to unload all the boxes for the ppl who've ordered. In fact that was this morning at 6am. I don't order because it would take me forever to use all that food-it's more for families. But I'm very familiar with it. More food for the money.

That program is excellent and very well organized.

I don't volunteer to work with that particular program, but my father always did. He was also something of a culinary snob and he appreciated the quality of most of the items that his church was able to distribute to a vast number of families in his area.
