Paypal Concerns - IE , Fire Fox Browsers

I wanted to ask everyone if they have ever ran into an issues of accessing their accounts using either browser - Let me tell you what I have experienced and how I thought my account was hacked.

I went to login to my account using Fire Fox Browser and I continued to get errors such as incorrect password , user name etc. So I then went to verify my account using email address, mailing address etc - still no record of my account. I then went to verify using my phone number and I saw the number on file ended in 14 ( my number does not end in 14. So I then figured my account has been hacked and was about to get on the phone with Paypal Support. I also checked to make sure my browser was accepting cookies because the login screen stated your browser must accept cookies to login to your account. I knew for sure there was a problem with my account.

However , I first decided to use IE Browser to see if I would get the same errors and if so I was going to get on the phone and speak to support. I did not expect I would actually be able to login into my account with no problems. I also went to verify my account using my phone number and this time the last two numbers were correct - weird !!!

Have anyone of you also ran into similar problems with Paypal when using different browsers? Did you ever find out the reason behind it?

Any info that you can provide will be appreciated. I am still going to contact support and tell them what I have experienced.
