Could anyone here can tell me briefly what are the main cons & pros for business account compared to personal account?

currently i do have a personal account, i am not interested to upgrade it. my only dilemma is if to open another "personal" account for business use or open "business" account

The Merchant account I have serves all purposes like paying for domains, hosting etc. and receiving payments for freelance work and IM.

However, if you want to have a business with a name, go for the Business type.

Personal accounts may be disabled, with payments suspended if found to be used for business. It has happened with several Asian users.

With personal account you are not allowed to receive payments as with the premier or business.

Get/upgrade at least to premier. Business might be even better.

You can have, if I remember well, one personal and one business act.

You can't sell with personal account.

According to PayPal, you can open 1 personal and 1 premier/business account under the same name and contact details.

So why don't you open premier/business account?

Hi Sam, if this is your only dilemma about it, it's resolved: you're not allowed to use a personal account there for business. But you are allowed to have a personal account and a separate business account, so if you don't fancy upgrading your existing account, you should probably just open a new, separate, business account?
