FREE High-Quality & Effective Backlinks

Hi guys,

I've spent a lot of time messing around with Flickr lately and have found it to be a good source of backlinks & trust in Google.

As you may or may not know, links on image pages, photostream, comments or 99.9% of Flickr are nofollow, which means that your link wouldn't get any 'juice' if it were on any of these pages.

However, there's one place they never managed to 'protect' and that is the sets pages.

Take 2 seconds and have a look at this page:

Explore Front Page - a set on Flickr

Welcome back, this is an example of someones 'set' which is a group of images. On the left hand side there is some text which says 'Photos making explore front page'. This is the users own description, and you can actually include links here which are NOT no-followed.

So, a few examples of how you can use this (remember that flickrs set pages are optimised well on-site):

Digital Cameras - You upload a few digital camera photos, place them in a keyword-rich named set, edit the set description with an anchor-text optimised link and benefit.

Mobile Phones - Want a high quality link for one of the toughest niches online? Upload some mobile phone pictures, add them in a set and then link to your site in the set description.

There is a lot of potential with this, and I haven't seen this elsewhere. It was my own discovery so hopefully you guys can benefit from this, it certainly isn't saturated and Iv'e found the links to be getting my pages some good rankings in Google.

Here's to many more of my free tips...

Did you find any of the pages containing the links had decent pagerank?

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

This is about editing the sets that you create, not about finding pages already.

I've found that as soon as the page is crawled you get a nice little 'boost'. Just thought I would share one of my million findings :p

I'd also mention, if you are uploading photos...add your site .com name as a watermark.

It is nofollow. But can these backlinks be considered as relevant sites to
    our main site?

They came up as dofollow links when I added them to my Flickr sets. Abdulazim, if you write some relevant text with your keywords along with the link, and use keyword-rich names and descriptions for the pictures in the set, then the links will definitely be relevant.
