Want to be a warrior - what's my boot camp?

Suppose you know nothing about Internet marketing, SEO, affliates, etc.

Suppose also you don't have thousands to spend on education. Buy some books, sure. A small budget to get started on the web, sure. But not $5,000 for the Billionaire Affiliate SEO Classroom Lord Of The Internet Training Course.

What would you read to get started?

    Hi raindog308,

    When I was in that position I consulted a search engine and found websites and ebooks that provided the answers.

      John's (Xfactor) eBook is amazing. I wouldn't use all of the strategies in it because some are outdated but that is what got me pumped up about IM

    I recommend this time and time again because it's free and from a respectable marketer you can trust -

    The Challenge is awesome (and free!) You can also glean a lot of knowledge from this forum by just asking around or searching.

    I would do what I did all over again. Go the main internet marketing section go to the LAST page of the forum. If you need even MORE information you can visit the WF Archive which goes back to 2007.

    Then start reading and devouring. I had a lot of time on my hands when I first got into this, so no fast-tracking for me. I just read and read and read... and guess what? Read some more.

    This forum is such a valuable resource I'm not even sure why you'd pay for anything--everything known to the internet marketing world has been discussed here probably 1000 times.

    You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

    I would read some useful threads on this forum and good internet marketing blogs.

    Then I'd spend the money on:

    * Hosting
    * Domain
    * Autoresponder
    * Advertising (probably Facebook ads or small media buys)
