Hi there. I have a celebrity site focused around a single celebrity that I'm monetizing with Adsense. It gets about 15k hits a month and I make about $2-$3 a day with it. Is that about right? Are there any other ways I could be monetizing?

Do you have images on your site? I'm going to assume so. Get some ads up on those images immediately. Pixazza. Also disable users from clicking the image to see a bigger image, your image ads income will increase greatly.

You could also get some pop-under ads rolling and ensure you are optimizing your adsense in the best places. Have you tried running CPA offers? Try to find something celebrity related and you should see some conversions.

By 15,000k hits do you mean unique visitors or just page views? Are you getting traffic from Google Images? If so are you redirected it or not?

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Don't you need 100,000 page views per month to qualify for Pixazza? I was looking at this last night and seem to recall that figure.

I will just say this much.....that is a good amount of traffic and you can make much more money from it than what you are making right now. Test some different things like celebrity products you can sell and maybe some other things as well.

    Try using this plugin:

WordPress › Heatmap Plugin « WordPress Plugins

What this will do is show you where your visitors are clicking that way you can move your ads accordingly. This should help raise your click count

    Hope it helps,

I think you can make more with adsense if you properly monetize it.But $2 or $3 for 15k traffic doesn't look fair to me.However you also may work with CPA offers like peerfly or cpalead or may be you can work with linkworth who gives lots of opportunities to make money from a site.

For 15k hits, $60-$90 seems quite decent to me. It is roughly $4-$6 CPM.

Very few non-sales sites make more than that.

However, you might want to try Affiliate products like Dating site memberships, Celebrity T-Shirts etc.

With that much traffic, I would seriously consider flipping the site for a healthy profit
