Fan Page with 2,600 members

I own a facebook fanpage and I've got over 2,600 fans on it since yesterday. this fan page is a very small and passionate niche and im trying to figure out how to monetize. I've posted an ebook from clickbank and said "hey check this out, let me know what you think" and a few of them from the page said it's crap blah blah blah. so they dont seem to be interested in clickbank products.

any ideas?

Can I sell this fanpage itself?

I believe there is a WSO that shows you how to sell fan pages, you can probably do a quick search on that.

In my opinion, I would add a CPA offer + a free report on something to do with the niche for an e-mail optin. Using email, increase intimacy and sell big to them. This would work because according to you this is a "passionate niche".

Stop selling and ENGAGE. Facebookers don't respond the same way other marketing venues do. Look around and educate yourself on how to market on Facebook. IM review is right about CPA and Clickbank. Maybe someone out there is having success with a Clickbank product on Facebook but I don't know of one.

When you hear someone telling you what YOU can't do, they are usually talking about what THEY can't do.

    • This is good advice, as soon as you said 'hey check this out' I can imagine the reaction when they see it in their facebook inbox.

They will not only archive the message but you risk alienating them and you will lose a fan.

Depending on the nice you can even post up CPA offers and make money from that

Reading Facebook's TOS concerning advertising, line 7 says no third party advertising. I want to know if we can even place affiliate links on our fan page wall? Is affiliate marketing considered third party advertising or selling ad space on our fan page to advertisers?

  • How did you generate the fans so quickly? I may be interested, but tell me more about how you created the fans please?

I also have some idea on how you can monetize and get more permission from them so you can interact with them as well as just gaining a fan (like)

I don't think it's the fact it is a Clickbank product that is causing the problem. It's the way you are going about it. People don't join your fanpage to be sold things. You need to engage with your audience, ask them questions, share good content, get them commenting, talking, answering, voting, etc.

Entertain these people. Most of us have fairly boring lives when it comes down to it so if you can bring a little enjoyment to their day they will want to keep coming back.

Instead of posting your content directly into the fanpage why not post it on a blog and then post the link to that content in to your fanpage. Then you can send people over to your blog to watch or read the free content and have ads to related products down the side. Win win. They get free content and you get to soft sell them on related products.

Start posting daily with your users about the niche related topic. Get them to engage and a week later check your insights and go from there. Check out if your niche has any products on amazon (I'm sure there would be) and post a link to your affiliate link and start making sales! Then rinse and repeat. Get 20-30 pages going and start earning $500+ a day!
