where to get cheap domain names

INTERNET MARKETING

i want to create autoblogs to backlink my main websites. i am looking for some cheap domain names. which extension is cheap and where i can get domain names cheaply . .info domains are 2 $ for one year later they are same as normal domains. so i am not intrested . I am not bothered about sucess of these blogs.plz suggest which domain registar and which extension. plz reply. i heard .in domains in name.com is 4 $ per year. waiting for replies

if it is for one or two domains i wont mind paying. but i am really for good number and that too i will use them only for backlinking my main websites.

  Get your domains from a reputable and reliable source. If they do what you want... they'll easily be worth $8.95 each next year. Otherwise.... it won't be worth your time (nevermind the cost) to continue this project.

I use www.retailmenot.com to get discount coupons for domains. I mainly use godaddy, and you can usually get a discount coupon there to save a few bucks.

There are lot of good suggestion. I have checked almost all the sites but no one offers any domain name less than $7. The ones offering below $7 are not giving a true value to be very honest.
