eBook Covers?

I'm currently looking for a good place to outsource my eBook cover needs. Anyone have any recommendations?

I was looking at software, but I'm not very technically sound when it comes to photo editing. Anyone has any experience with this type of software?

Forget software. Outsource.

I used Sean Lowery's MinisiteGraphics.com - Minisite Design, Direct Marketing & Sales Graphics and was extremely satisfied. A warrior named Sean Lowery owns the site.

So far as software goes I really like 3D Covers (not an affiliate link, BTW). The upside is that you can do a decent ecover without having to have PhotoShop. The downside is that you'll probably want to have a basic photo-editing program (GIMP will do as will PhotoShop Elements) and knowledge to use it effectively.

If you don't have much talent at working with graphics files, then outsourcing is going to be your ticket if you want a professional look.
