      A Quote from their website:

Setting up DPD to work with PayPal

PayPal can be used as your primary DPD storefront processor or along side Google Checkout. Configuring DPD to work with PayPal is a simple 5 minute process, and you only need to enter your PayPal payments address to enable any DPD storefront to accept PayPal payments.

Paypal can't provide an anonymous API capable of such transfers. It would be STUPID for them, and complicate matters. Without such an api, that only THEY could provide, you really couldn't provide what you want. So ifive paypal account. you want access to 100% of active paypal customers, you need an actuve paypal account.

Getpd is not an alternative to PayPal. It is merely a delivery service for your digital products. You must provide your own payment gateway, i.e. PayPal, Google Checkout, or ClickBank.

Why don't use Alertpay directly? It is becoming the best paypal alternative since its started accepting CC..

2Cehckout lets you accept Paypal payments. Google "free 2checkout account" and you could find a code. I found one and my account was already confirmed

GetDPD works alongside PayPal. As others have said, it's not an alternative.

That said, I dumped eJunkie for it and haven't looked back. Their interface is FANTASTIC and everything is very well streamlined.

I think what the ultimate question was can someone use a PayPal account to make a payment to Alert Pay (which he would deliver through get DPD)...

Does anyone know if AP accepts PP payments?

GetDPD is not an alternative to paypal. It is a product delivering service. You can link your DPD account with GoogleCO and Paypal. Get a GoogleCO account and link DPD to it. DPD accepts paypal payments so it will just take the money from the buyer and transfer it to your GoogleCO account. You can definitely try this method.

No, Alertpay does not accept paypal payments. There are hardly any such services that are flexible with paypal. Although 2CO does.

This is not a PayPal alternative. This is just a payment gateway Like E-junkie and Digiresults.

You might also like Digital Delivery App I'm the founder and we can accept payments through PayPal, Google Checkout, AlertPay or Clickbank. You'll find you'll get much better conversion rates with the first two though as people are more familiar with them.

As many people have pointed out DigitalDeliveryApp, or any of the solutions in this area (e-junkie, or DPD) handle the automatic delivery, reporting, integration with mailing lists etc - they are not a replacement for PayPal

NO, they only redirect to PayPal. It means the money will be sent directly to your PayPal account just like when you're selling with PayPal, they're similar to ejunkie.

    I like these guys personally -- http://www.paxum.com/

They accept all countries in the world, mail you a free debit card, and the service is great. I just wish more people were using them.
