Does Fiverr Allow You To Sell Products?

I recently set up a gig that still hasn't been approved. My idea was to sell a couple of bonus ebooks that accompanied a product I'm selling so I could wring more value out of them while also leveraging them for lead generation.

I didn't see anything in their terms of service specifically banning selling products, but the whole site does seem to be focused on selling services.

There are a few people that do pretty well by selling ebooks and products on Fiverr. There was a post not too long ago where someone mentioned how they did it.

I actually sell a physical product, CDs, on fiverr.

As long as you can create and deliver for less than $4 you can make a profit. And if you load the CD with other things they can buy from your website you will make even more, and build a mailing list.

When you say product, what exactly are you referring to? The reason I ask is because if you look at some of the gigs, you'll see that people are offering to create something that is not just a service. For example, you'll see that some sellers offer to make jewelry.

From what I've seen, there are many products being sold on Fiverr. I know there are some people that sell ebooks, reports, postcards, and PLR content...all stuff that wouldn't be considered a service. Hopefully your gig is approved soon.

I've seen ebooks being sold on Fiverr. Have you considered publishing your book instead on Amazon Kindle instead? I have a feeling that it would do better there instead, as it seems that a lot of us marketers are visiting Fiverr and I don't know that the general public knows about it.

I didn't know you could sell products on Fiverr. I'm preparing a product for Kindle, but Fiverr is possibly an additional outlet. In other words, I guess it's possible to use both.

I just bought a video done for me. That's a product, so I don't see why not.

How long ago did you submit your job? Most of the time it's fast, but it can take forever. And I've also submitted messages to Fiverr that were never returned. I guess they're really busy?

I had a similar question about my War Room Private Discussion submission. I submitted it days ago and haven't heard a thing. But again, I assume the mods are busy. I can only imagine what they have to put up with on a daily basis.

But I saw a gig on Fiverr the other day where someone was selling T-shirts. I also saw a thread on another forum where a girl was offering upsells to her gigs in the form of ClickBank affiliate products. Pretty crafty indeed. That's product selling onsite and offsite.

      So you should be fine.

Yes you can...just don't go buy someone else's stuff and sell it there...sell your own stuff...

I had some ass wipe buy one of my WSO's last month and within days the jerk had it for sale on Fiverr...needless to say I had his account shut down with hours...

YES you can make a killing on Fiverr if you play your cards right...

      Cheers,

    • Fiverr hasn't done a great job of promoting the product angle, which is a shame because I'm sure many companies would jump at the chance, even selling merchandise at cost, to get first-page placement on a site with an Alexa rank of 339.

Shoot, I would even advertise on Fiverr but there are no ads...yet.

It's actually a little easier to sell products on fiverr now. When I was going through the form to add a new product I was given the option to add a cost for shipping. This means I can charge a fiverr plus shipping. This will make it easier to sell my shirts and other things.

The shipping option may have always been there, but this was the first time I saw it.

yup you can as anything you do on fiverr is your own product and you are selling it. As long as it is your original product don't worry, just do it. But I think $5 for a "product" you spend hours on isn't worth it.

Good point, but if you get creative and think about offering something on the backend -- or even building up your opt-in list(s) -- $5 is a good "on the job/gig" fee. Actually, Fiverr keeps a buck, so you only get $4 per gig.

If you want more details about what sells on Fiverr and other Fiverr clones, there's a handy article on Scribd called "Fiverr Flood". Search it out and read what some folks are offering. Yes, even PLR/MRR! Shocking...

$5 (actually $4) per product sold not enough?

Not an exact analogy, but I think it'll make the point: how much, on average, do you think J.K. Rowling earns as a royalty on every one of her books sold? (It's less than that). Might "how many you can sell" be relevant, here?
