OPEN OFFICE Question

INTERNET MARKETING

I am submitting books to Kindle and now I want to submit Books To
Barnes& Noble for their Rook. I am having a problem with Open Office.
I need a Doc File and for some reason my Open Office is producing an ODT ext. Anybody know how I can get it to make doc files?

When you save it you have the option of choosing the format that you do it in.

Go to > Save As and below the file name you see the spot that says Save As Type. That is where you choose the format.

File -> Save As -> Save As Type Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) (*.doc)

You can do this by going File - Save As. Now there will be a drop down for the types of files. One of the extensions will be .doc, choose this and you are good to go
