About few months for the first dollar but it takes about a year to see consistent revenue.

Depends on your workings. If you are providing best quality product or services to your customers than i think 2 months are enough to find profit.

Well it really does depend on what you're doing. I started with services, no clue about internet marketing, and made money the same day! For someone who couldn't find a job at the time, that was amazing!

When it came to earning from my own websites, my first earnings were literrally pennies on Google Adsense but they made me so happy! I can't remember how long the pennies took, but I know that the first Adsense payout took a good few months. It's amazing how happy the small things make you when you're just getting started. And so they should!

  I couldn't even use Word or Excel then, I had no idea how to use a computer.
  
  Those 2 years ended 5 years ago and I'm very pleased I persevered throughout that time, I learned a lot about IM and more importantly, I learned a lot about me.

Believe it or not, within a day of posting in a forum and newsgroup. BUT, that was a very targeted product, for a very targeted audience, who had expressed a very specific need. I didn't get anywhere even close to rich, for sure, but I did very well for my first time with no experience.

Once I actually learned about what IM is, and decided to begin using it to become self-sufficient, it took me a few weeks to make my first sale, almost a year before I saw any real regularity, and a few years before things really started taking off for me. The more you learn and apply, the more positive results you will see, and a lot quicker, too, usually.

Believe it or not one month to receive one Adsense payment - the minimum was 100$ and that first month I got it.

But this was back in the day and there wasn't competition in PT rankings. A couple months later I hit 1K month.

Then some years later I created the first Adsense Course in Portuguese. I believe it was the first Portuguese Internet Marketing product, ever.
