kompozer publishing problems...

Would anyone familiar with Kompozer be able to help here please.....

For some reason - every time I hit 'Publish' - the 'Publishing' window opens and its stays open forever - continuously in a state of 'publishing'. The moving publishing icon continues to rotate - but never ends.

Normally pages just take a few seconds to publish - but not at the moment. I know my settings are ok.

I have dug out an old version on Nvu and used that - and that can publish fine - so it seems to be a Kompozer thing.

Would anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I don't use the built-in ftp in Kompzer. I also noticed this.
If you use css background images, the images won't save.

But anyway I'm always comfortable using filezilla or fireftp.
