Do warriors look down on things like WPDirect ?

Is Wordpress Direct worth the monthly fee?

Is it better to learn yourself, grind and grind until making a blog for a keyword second nature?

    If you're doing the Challenge, then you get to use WP Direct for free for your test site. Why not just go ahead and do so - follow the instructions as given the first time through. Then you'll have a better idea of what your choices are.

    I tried WP Direct via the 2010 Challenge (having built multiple WP blogs myself before) and I haven't continued with it. I didn't like the extra layer of code and resulting bugs, or the extra places to go to control things - especially when they were working from Market Samurai -> WP Direct -> your site... and for some things you still had to go direct to your site anyway.

    I do use WP Twin to clone my existing setup and create new sites extremely fast.

    Boy, I'm having all kinds of confusion today. I read through the features, but I don't see anything they offer that you can't do yourself fairly easily. Plug-ins will take care of most of that automatically.

    If you just need a blog built, you can get that done fairly cheaply in the Warriors For Hire section, or take a look at the link in @allenjohn's sig file above. What you see on the page are pre-built, but he also states on his page that if they don't have the niche you are looking for, let them know and they will build it for you for the same price.
