I'd love to share more info, but there is way too much to tell. There are so many WSOs and training products out there that provide valuable recipes, and I believe most of them work if you put in the work.
I am not very good at writing WSOs and training products, but if I were to give you one advice that changed everything for me, it would be: launch as soon as you can, launch something crappy and broken, improve it, and learn as you go. And as long as you genuinely put customers needs first, money will follow.

Amen to every word of that. A lot of people, myself included, put things off for way too long because they think they don't know enough yet.

It doesn't matter what your skill level, you should getting something up ASAP. As you said, fix it, improve it and learn what you need as you go.

Hands-on experience is always the best teacher.

Again... go's back to not letting the small details get to you. Taking action is one thing, but by looking at every detail as an obstacle means you'll never get off the ground!

While I agree with this to an extent, I think doing this blindly without proper research is a recipe for a LOT of headaches for newer IM'ers.

Take my site for example.

When I got started about a month ago, I kept reading about 'Take action! Take action!'. So I did. I just focused on the first immediate task in front of me until it was completed with little thought to steps down the road. So, I finished the product. Then, finished the website. Then, finished how to accept transactions and distribute the product. Only thing left was promotion.

Once I got to the promotion step, I realized that not doing my due diligence had put me in a tough spot, as pretty much every single traffic generation method I had expected to be open to me, was closed to me without investing a decent amount of money. Even google adwords will not let me promote my product, regardless of how much money I have in my adwords account.

Had I realized I would be facing a Mt. Everest size road block in promotion, I absolutely would have devoted my time and what little resources I had to a different niche and product. Live and learn.

So, while taking action is extremely important, it's also important to do your homework too.

Congratulations, MarketHacker! Your market research must be top notch! To find a niche in which you can make a sale your first ten minutes of publishing one blog post, then building a list, testing sales pages, etc, until you reach 100,000 USD in sales within a year - incredible combination of research and follow through. You are to be congratulated.

Warning: if you do decide to create a WSO, it will distract you from creating your next $100,000 annual site. So I advise against it.

Congrats! We tend to forget that all the technical stuff about running an IM business may be important but caring for your customers is CRUCIAL! Put yourself in the shoes of your customers and your success will surpass everything you could have imagined.
