Forum Marketing Strategies

I've been search the forum for good info on forum marketing but I am not finding anything other than threads with small snippet of of info.

Does anyone know of any really good threads or where I can find some solid info on some forum marketing strategies?

      I do really agree with that, genuinely helping others and just being active is the best way to do it. I think that if people sense that you try to push some product to them then they wont like it. If the forum provides marketing section specially for marketing then that is different matter.

    I use forum marketing for just about all of my niches. It's an extremely powerful way of driving free targeted traffic.

    What is your niche? Your first step is finding niche-related forums. Do a Google search using the following operator:

    Keyword + Forums

    So if your niche was Internet Marketing then your search would look like this:
    internet marketing + forums - Google Search

    Once you find active forums, check the rules on links in your sig line and start providing valuable posts to the community. After 50 posts or so put your site in your sig line.

    forum marketing is just a discussion board people spend their time to share their knowledge and you can earn from the ad placement and other paid subscription for your activity. It is good way to earn easy money online.

        In the most popular sense of the phrase, "forum marketing" means marketing a product or service on a niche related forum.

        For example if you had a movie review site, wouldn't it make sense to mingle with members on a movie related forum with your site advertised in the sig line?

        Of course you can also build your own forum and market that way, but just like an authority site, doing this is going to be time consuming and take hundreds of members to really get off the ground.
