Hello friends,
I am new to this forum. I want to start an online business. Need your advices.

What I have-----

1. I can spend $100 per month.
2. I can spend 8-9 hours daily.

What can I do with the money and time I have? How much time will it take me to get fully established?

Regards,
vicky.

  • Hi Passion. So you have $100 to spend and 8-10 hours per day to work on your online business. Hmmm...

†Industry, sub industry, consumer market, online consumer market and keyword research. This means go to the most credible global media sources of such updated and accurate data, in terms of industry news, sub industry news, business trends, consumer market trends, online consumer market trends, economic news and socio-politico commentaries. These are popular global news media corporations and companies. They have deep pockets and a team of expert analysts and field journalists...

•Pinpoint a profitable sub industry and sub business market with a specific online consumer market comprised of people with immediate needs and urgent problems relevant to the subjects covered by the sub industry and sub business market of your choice...
•Think of most likely keywords/keyphrases used by your target online consumer markets when they need to search for possible solutions to their related needs and urgent problems, or details of such solutions online...
•Enter each of those keywords/keyphrases in Google, one at a time, and identify online social communities that appear as the top search results for those keywords/keyphrases. These online social communities include Web forums, blog networks, social networks and other online communities...
•Go to those online social comunities where your target online consumer markets most likely hang out regularly. Learn what they frequently talk about in those online communities that's relevant to the subjects covered by your target sub industry and sub business market. Take note of keywords/keyphrases they regularly mention to ask questions, search for solutions and pieces of advice from niche experts, let others know of their relevant needs and related problems, etc...
•Go to the Google Keyword Tool or any other keyword tool you prefer. Enter the keywords you listed down as mentioned above. Set the tool to give you exact match results...
•Go to Google and use the exact match search results you got from your keyword research, one at a time. Identify online social communities and other websites top ranking for those keywords which accept content contributions from content developers/authors or those you can approach to strike mutually beneficial joint venture deals...
•Decide whether you want to develop your own products or services with benefits lacking from existing solutions aimed towards satisfying the immediate needs and solving the urgent problems of your target online consumer markets, or to find the best affiliate products/services you can market...

†Register a relevant domain name that's easy to remember and can instantly communicate to your target online consumer markets the benefits provided by the website with such a domain name...

†Sign up for a CPanel hosting account...

†Find a great Wordpress theme that your target online consumer markets will enjoy viewing content on...

†Select the set of Wordpress plugins which you need. These include plugins that display social bookmarking buttons and content sharing options as well as plugins which make it easy for you to upload multimedia content on your Wordpress website...

†Install a Wordpress instance in your CPanel server using Fantastico, then install those Wordpress theme and plugins into your server, log into your Wordpress admin panel, and activate those theme and plugins...

†Hire someone who can install a mailing list signup box and mailing list management panel in your Wordpress admin panel as well as an email Web form that doesn't use the "mailto:" HTML tag...

†Hire a graphics designer with HTML, Wordpress and CSS expertise to customize the overall look and feel of your Wordpress theme, including your logo and banner plus other images necessary for increasing the visual impact effectiveness of your customized Wordpress theme...

†Develop your products or service offers, or study your chosen affiliate products or services. These should offer your target online consumers benefits not found in other existing solutions/products/service offers nor in your freely downloadable mailing list signup content, onsite content and offsite content mentioned below. Increase the value of your products/service offers by providing more convenient ordering processes, more secure online payment options, and more rewarding freebies, incentives, discounts, guarantees and warranties. Develop irresistible sales pages for your products/services or affiliate products/services...

†Develop your freely downloadable content mailing list signup offer along with your presell page that can entice your target online consumer markets to get your freely downloadable content by signing up to your mailing list. Your freely downloadable content should provide benefits not found in your onsite and offsite content materials as mentioned below...

†Develop your onsite content. Your onsite content should provide your target online consumer markets with benefits not found in your offsite content as mentioned below...

†Develop your offsite content materials. These should be in the softsell marketing tone/style. You will use these materials to build your reputation in the social communities heavily trafficked by your target online consumer markets and top ranking in Google for your target keywords. Your target online consumer markets in those social communities should think and feel you're a friendly, niche-expert resource of beneficial content in the form of info, advice, tips, strategies and techniques. They should also think that the benefits you provide in those online communities would mean your onsite content, your freely downloadable signup content offer and your products/services should provide them with more benefits that can satisfy their immediate needs, solve their urgent problems and improve their lives...

†Constantly develop beneficial offsite content, onsite content, freely downloadable mailing list signup content, newsletters, mailing list updates and products/services providing excellent solutions to the most immediate needs and most urgent problems of your target online consumer markets...

That's it. This for me is how the funnel goes in terms of benefits, more benefits not found previously, more benefits not found previously, more benefits not found previously and updates to maximize the benefits offered by your products/services for your target consumer markets:

Offsite Content Posted on Top Ranking, Heavily Trafficked, Contextually Relevant Pages of High Authority Websites ==>> Onsite Content ==>> Freely Downloadable Mailing List Signup Content ==>> Newsletters and Mailing List Updates ==>> Sales Pages of Products/Services or Affiliate Products/Services ==>> Repeat the Process

Yes: This is simple. No: This is not easy. Just optimize your task and time management systems...

First of all, I would like to thank you all (Marx Vergel Melencio, Ruth P, bigbabol, NestZone,Claire Sharp, omk) for replying here. You all have something good to share.

@Marx Vergel Melencio, thanks for your detailed reply. I can only spend $100 per month. Do you think I can cover everything- seo, adverising, hiring someone for coding, etc, with the amount I have?

I am thinking about second option, that is- affiliate marketing (selling other people's product). As far as I know I need to work on a niche first and build a blog on it. Only then any affiliate network would allow me to get affiliated with them. Am I right?

I want to know- What affiliate networks look for while approving any application? Is it ok to work with different affiliate networks at the same time?

Sell this product as a special report or guide.
But before you do that, you'd have to go thru a whole process of research in order to see if there is a market for it.
just make sure you learn the fundamentals of IM first. Then you'll be ready to select the direction to go in.
There are many areas you could get started in like:
        1 - offline coaching/consulting
2 - affiliate marketing - selling other people's products, generating leads, CPA etc.
3 - selling your own products
4 - online coaching/consulting - basically doing the guru thing, but not necessarily in the biz op niche. You can teach in any niche you want, as long as you have the knowledge and experience.

What I would recommend doing is once you've spent a bit of time discovering which way you want to go, just decide on one or 2 things and focus your efforts on them instead of trying to do a bit of everything.
Earlier I came up with two options- Either to go with google adsense or try affiliate marketing. Now I am thinking about only affiliate marketing. Google adsense will take a lot of time. Once I start earning in Affiliate marketing, I will try my hands in google adsense too.

    Welcome to the forum Vicky

Unfortunately, because there are many, many ways to make money online, it'll take some time for you to find what's right for you. I do recommend doing some research to find a course that many people recommend, and not straying from it until you know you've gone through it all. The reason why many people are slow to find success (and I did this too) is because they stray too quickly from one idea to the next.

If I were to suggest the best things you could spend that money on I'd say:
    - domain
    - hosting
    - email marketing service like Aweber

But it does all depend on the route you choose to go down. With a small budget and a good amount of time to spend, I am sure you'll make progress quickly.

    ~Ruth

There must be something you are good at Or interested in. If you just want to go online because everybody is online you must probably are heading for the gully.

Because what you are interested in OR good at, you will find pleasure doing and will be able to sustain it otherwise you will get bored most of the time.

You're in a much better position than most newbies. Most newbies don't have that amount to spend per month.
I would say, think about what you like to do. If you have any hobbies, you could try and create a product from something you know or have experience with.

If I were you, I would definitely spend a bit of time on this forum and get ideas as to which direction you want to go in. There are shedloads of different ways to make money on the internet and at first it can seem a little overwhelming, at least thats what I found anyway.

What I would recommend doing is once you've spent a bit of time discovering which way you want to go, just decide on one or 2 things and focus your efforts on them instead of trying to do a bit of everything.

Welcome to the Warrior Forum! You know what they say: Time is money.
So, in your case the money you can spend every month is not a lot, but the fact that you can devote 8-9 hours per day to your online efforts is very satisfactory.

However, there are several expenses you can't avoid if you want to build a solid business online. The most basic are the following:

      1) Domain for your site or blog. If you go for an available one (which is the best option for you) it should cost you anything from $10 to $15 for a whole year. If you want to brand yourself online, try a search with your name at Domain Names, Web Hosting and SSL Certificates - Go Daddy or any other domain provider. (yourname.com should be the best option if available).

      2) Hosting. You need a hosting account for your site. If you choose to start with a blog, you can avoid this expense for the time. I personal use Hostgator. This will cost you around $5 per month for one site. Apart from the reliability of their service and the affordable price, they also offer a great support (you can use their help 24/7).

      3) Autoresponder. You need to build your list (just in case you haven't heard of it yet: THE MONEY IS IN THE LIST!). There are several autoresponding services, but the most reliable ones are said to be aweber and getresponse. Still, you can do your own market research online (a google search would be ideal for this task). This service will cost you around $20 per month (this is the first level of pricing). I think that aweber allows you to test their service for a full month with a measly dollar, though. Go ahead and check it out.

      4) War Room lifetime membership. You can find a lot of courses online on how to make money online. But if you want to get your hands on top notch internet marketing training at a minimal cost, though, you should consider joining the War Room. The cost is around $40, but it is a one time fee and it's worth every penny. Most warriors that have subscribed to the War Room (almost everyone indeed) claim that these were the best dollars they have spent online!

Regarding marketing (promoting your site, products or services) there is no roof to the money you can spend. However, your current budget is rather limited and therefore you should start your efforts by using free promotional methods ( article marketing, video marketing, blogging, social media such as facebook and twitter etc). That's where the time you can spare kicks in. Remember? Time IS money. You can learn all you need for these methods online for free.

I hope you do well and wish you all the best!

P.S. There is a site called fiverr, where you can find people that can implement tasks for you for $5 per assignment. For instance, you can outsource tasks that are hard for you (such as video creation, article submission, graphics, link building, technical stuff, even promotions on social media platforms etc) at this very low price. Go ahead and check this site out. You will even have fun, as there are several hilarious gigs posted there!
Regarding outsourcing your tasks, make sure to check the rating of the person you want to hire. It shows how satisfied the people that have already used his/her services are. The higher their rating, the better!
If you can provide a service yourself, you could even post your own gigs there to make some fast cash.

I would definitely say your in the right place. Spend as much time on this forum as possible before you get started. Learn as much as possible and then start out to making money online, but whatever avenue you choose, stick it out til the end. It is real easy to jump from one thing to the next, stay with one thing and you will be successful.

I strongly suggest you start building your own assets instead of working years helping others(as most people do) and get paid commission, affiliating i.e!

There's no reason why you can't do both, but make sure you build something that will leverage business growth as time goes by.

    • Build relationships
    • Make yourself a name
    • Gain expert status in some field

I think this is very important!

Don't be a "Jack of all trades, master of none" and learn how to outsource :-)

    Just my 2 cents

Use Google Keyword tool to identify 10-15 keywords that you want to target. Create your own website, preferably with a CMS like Joomla, Drupal, or Wordpress. Decide on a product to sell, whether it be from Amazon, Ebay, Clickbank, or your own thing.

Once you have that going, add approximately 10,000 words of relevant content to the site, targeting 1-2 of your keywords on each page. Make sure to optimize the text for the keywords, but make sure that you emphasize readability and quality - writer for your readers, not Google.

Break up your ~10 articles into another 20, targeting one keyword each. Either submit them manually or spend $100 on fiverr to have each one submitted to ~1k article directories. You may need to submit to the higher quality directories on your own (ezine, etc) or do some additional modifications for properties like Hubpages and what not.

Continue creating web 2.0 properties pointing to your site, preferably from different domains. You can, say, create a xanga, live journal, and whatnot. You should also add a link to your site in any forum that you post on that allows it. Comment on blogs and create forum profiles to build backlinks to your site. You can purchase automated services for this on Fiverr, but it's sort of spammy, so that's up to you.

You'll be making money in no time.

    I like nicelife's idea.

Also, I may offer my own advice, here. If you can work at this full-time without worrying too much about money, there's a couple different routes you take.

    First, one is low risk.

This would be doing a little "work" to build up your budget so you can make the bigger bucks marketing, later.

By this, I mean selling a service such as article writing, video creation, backlink building, etc. Post your service on such freelance sites as fiverr or even here at Warrior Forum in this section: Warriors For Hire

A lot of now very successful warriors have gotten their start doing this. I know because I see their success stories here, often.

The second choice is you could take a little risk and try to drive traffic to a blog/site you have made either selling a product of your own (easy to make with PLR) or selling affiliate products.

I think this is more risky because you are not guaranteed income right away like you are when you sell a service and get paid for a set amount of work.

However, I think the profit potential is much higher.

I would do both, but work harder on the services, for now, and then build up to making a lot from your own site and learn a bit more about marketing and copy writing and building relationships in the meantime.

Personally, I started with my own product. I did a simple SEO course online (KEY is SIMPLE) I did an ebook on losing weight and targeted a competitors brand name for my keyword. (I actually got lucky as it wasn't intentional but is same advice I'd give today)

My first product was HORRIBLE, refunds were about 60%. I still made about $1,200 1st month though. I just had a policy if they want a refund, I immediately gave it to them. From there just kept working on the book to make it better etc...

You'll learn a lot doing it that way and hopefully make some money too.

Just make sure you pick something you know people want. Not some obscure niche like "striped bass feeding"

Most important thing, keep it simple and pick ONE thing and stick with it.

I'd become a member of the war room and quickly get up to speed on some of things there. I'd then pick up one of the WSO's that looks has had many good reviews. After reading stuff on the war room you should be able to make a more educated decision on such things.
Once you have a WSO just work on that and make it work.

    Hey there, Vicky!

    Welcome to the forum
The best advice I could give you is DO YOUR RESEARCH. First, you need to get the knowledge on what's right for you. I'm involved in a company named 5linx. Let me just tell you IT SAVED MY LIFE. I am so thankful for EVERYTHING that has happened in my life because it allowed me to have found this opportunity. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you check it out. Point is, you have to take chances and see what works for you. Once you do find what works for you, work your hardest to achieve your goals. Find your WHY. WHY do you want to start a business online, and what will having this business do for you/your family. This forum also helps with providing you with AMAZING techniques from people who know what works and what doesn't. Good luck in your adventure!

    I hope this helped!

    2. I can spend 8-9 hours daily.

What can I do with the money and time I have? How much time will it take me to get fully established?

Passion, among what other members here have suggested to you. i want to also give you my own idea on how you can invest your $100 and 8-9 hrs daily. but i will make it easy with my 2 simple suggestions.

    1. Get to learn any profitable IM skill, such as web design service, web graphics service, seo service, Article writing, sale copy service & more. Then use warrior for hire section [to list your service cost just $20] to render your service to other Internet marketers and make money.

    2. My second suggestion, Start an affiliate marketing using PPC or article marketing strategie. All you do is research a hot niche[1-2 hrs] then go to clickbank and find the affiliate product [free]. then get a domain name @ godaddy.com [$10] and hosting at hostagor.com [pick any of their payment plan you choose] get auto-responder from getresponse.com and start building your list and promoting your affiliate products continuously.

    P.s:
[i] you can use vcccheap.com to buy adword vourchers @very cheap rates.
[ii]You can equally write your keyword articles yourself [if you have a good writing skill] without paying anyone a dime. With time and little effort you will surely achieve your dream.

    Hope this will help.

A key here is how you organise your time. It is very easy to say you are going to do something tomorrow and when tomorrow arrives, it doesn't happen. I spent years wasting away my time by getting distracted from my key objectives. So my suggestions are

    1. Get a diary with each day being A4 size
    2. Write down your objectives defining what you are going to do tomorrow to
    promote your business
    3. Before you go to bed at night read out loud what tomorrow's objectives are
    4. The following day read out loud your objectives again
    5. Get on with the job(s). Once you have completed one objective write 'done' in your diary against it
6 Review at 3.00 pm what you have done and what you need to do
    7. Do not go to bed until you have completed all of your objectives
    8. Write down tomorrow's objectives and read them out loud before you go to bed
    9 Repeat ..........

    Hope this helps
