Ebay Store vs Money Website

Guys,
I was searching and trying to compare the Ebay Store vs an Online Site (with adsense, affiliates , services etc) and i would like to know if beeing on the Ebay Brand and "world" the gains will be higher then having a Website and promote it.
Ebay charges for each store $15/month + insert. fees + final comissions... but will all this fees compensate the Ebay Image and can gather more clients by searching thru ebay or ebay is tricky.

Since i never had a store on ebay and i was thinking between these 2 options i would like to know what the gurus here think about it.

The success of any store depends on a gazillion different factors.
- You can have an ebay store and lose money, while a non-ebay site may make you rich beyond belief.
- You can have a non-ebay site and lose money, while an ebay store may make you rich beyond belief.
It all comes down to how good your business concept is ad how well you execute it.

Hi - I would try ebay to begin with. That will solve one big problem. Traffic. Then if your offer is any good then good things will follow. All the very best, Allen

Use both.

Use your ebay store to build up a customer list. After they buy from you on ebay send them a link to your Money Website and ask them to start shopping there. Also make sure that you get them on your mailing list.

I have sold on Ebay for the last 10 years and would urge you to do both. Even though Ebay is no longer as profitable as it used to be, I will always keep it as a sideline.

You should have both. Just because you have an ebay store doesn't mean you can't have an outside site.
