$400 too much for Personal Coaching?

Is $400 too much for 1 on 1 coaching?

Not videos, group webinars etc..

But 1 on 1 coaching 30 minutes a week for a month. (so 2 total hours a month) (via skype/webinars)

Discuss with the client exactly what they want to do and help them do it.
Give them short homework each week to complete.

If they don't make at least $400 more each month from the coaching get a complete refund. (If they don't do the work after week #1 they are fired and get a full refund)

Coaching done by a marketer who earns $100k+ a year.

Love to hear your thoughts.

Obviously it wouldn't be open to a lot of people and its not open now so I am not pitching just would love some feedback.

Its not too much if they are willing to help you.

$400 to learn from a six figure earner is not much at all.

I'm working on a website just for this, $100 per year per person. It's going to be legendary.

Joe $100 for a year from a 6 figure earner and you get 1 on 1 not 1 on 100 interaction?

The guy wouldn't have enough time for that.

thanks for the feedback so far on this though

  • Well if there is a guarantee then I guess no one has anything to worry about really.

Depends on so many factors - Does the coach teach the kind of techniques you want to use? Are you willing to take action and put the things you learn into practice? Is the coach reputable (ie - can you verify his/her income claims)? Basically, will that $400 turn into many, many more as a result of this coaching program.

But yeah, I've actually spent a lot more than that on personal coaching, and in most cases, it's been totally worth it.

$400 dollars is cheap for someone that earns 6 figures and is a good coach. Most 6 figure earners I know that take on coaching students charge 4 figures to do so.
However it's only a good deal if it's a good fit for you in terms of teaching style, learning style and your strong points.

BTW, if you've never done it before, you may need to lower your price until you figure it out.

Are you offering or buying? If buying I'd say $400 is a good price. If you're offering I'd say you could charge more but start at that price until you've got the hang of coaching

I was also asked to give a 1 on 1 coaching and I asked for 500$...currently I have 2 students that are learning from me..so I don't think 400$ is something big...

To me, if someone is good at coaching then the ideal arrangement would be the following. You should not pay him or her for their time, but for the results.

This is a results business. If you are good, all you need is some control. Control of the budget, PPC (if you are using it) and the offer. Now, no business owner is going to give you complete control over their business. But enough to be effective.

I know some of the old timers are going to have field day with this, but i'm going to say it anyway. In Direct Response just because something worked in the past doesn't mean it works now.

The new way to think about business in not about much money you can make, but rather how much "Attention" you can get.

$400 is Personally cheap from my perspective, I charge clients £2-5k for 2 month coaching all the way you to £15k for over a period of 8 weeks. I think you could raise your Price to a little but it does depend on what is being delivered and how much support is also being offered. But Great if at 400 if your clients are happy with it.

thanks for the feedback all I do appreciate it.
Just to be clear yes I would be doing the coaching not the buying.

I have done some coaching in the past but it was videos/webinars/email etc.. not one on one stuff.

And yes I have earned $100k+ for a few years now. thanks all I wish you the best.

One of the easiest ways to success is to copy a successful plan and if that coach is successful you have nothing to lose.
