I have just thrown up a competition on my website and had a few responses.

My first question to you guys is, in GetResponse can I make a custom confirmation email? I have a webpage that the competition goes to but what about the opt-in email that gets sent to the entrants?

My second question is if you have a list of unconfirmed people, do you resend the confirmation or just forget about them?

    1. Yes you can make custom confirmation emails in Get Response.

    2. You can't send email that you don't have permission to send to them, so yes you should just ignore them as well as delete them, becuase some autoresponder services will charge you for holding the names and emails.

    I have found out how to customise the form now.

    Its my first list so finding it hard to delete people who haven't completed the subscription yet

    Since you are having a competition maybe you should check out a tell a friend script like the one Mike Cowles has for $7... Offer them a sweet bonus for telling friends about the contest...

      Can you post a link to it please? I've been looking for a tell-a-friend script for a while, ever since i learnt i couldn't use Viral friend generator with aweber :rolleyes:
