In the UK we get lots of junk mail through the door which mostly goes in the trash. The ROI for businesses from this type of marketing is statistically very very poor. However, what it does indicate is they they're spending money on marketing to get more customers. Money that could be better spent on Internet/Social Media marketing and you have all the contact details on the flyer that just came through your letterbox!

    Leaflets STILL work for takeaways, supermarkets and taxi firms in my opinion. Especially if they're running coupon promotions.
