Unfortunately, I think that there are many other guys just like this one running similar scamming offers out there.

I like the free trial model, I think that anyone who has worked with them knows that most of the times they convert better than the normal CPS offers. The problem is not the recurring fees, people should know that no one would give them something completely free. If you pay $5 for a free trial you have to keep in mind that it's "trial", so, obviously, you will have to pay more later. Of course, some offers mention the recurring fees only in the fineprint, which is obviously unethical (maybe more than that).

So the real problem is the guys like this one, who don't let people cancel later and force them to change their CC#. This type of practice makes them rich, but kills the reputation of the free trial offers and makes it tougher for us to promote them.

  • You mean when you are typing in your credit card number you didn't figure out the free offer wasn't free?

It's all too common to come into contact with these type of scams. They're everywhere. If it's free and supposed to work wonders, than it's most likely a lie.

Another tactic that many use is to offer a product for free, and then tell the customer to just pay for shipping and then the cost of the shipping is actually 10 times what it would actually cost to ship. Hence, the item is not really free....I know it's buyer beware, but that's just slimey...
