Cloaking URLs not converting - any thoughts?

Hey Warriors,

I am an affiliate at Fluxads and I've noticed when I use WP plugin Pretty Link to cloak the affiliate URLs the CPA doesn't seem to convert (for the payment to show in my account).

When I try using their affiliate link it works fine.

Any one else had this? I'm worried about my links being hijacked.

Thoughts?

Some cookies dont set when cloaked. Its a security measure.

How hard is it to clear your cookies, click on your link, and then check to see which cookies are present?

Is anyone in the States who can check this link for me and just add any email address. I've been trying to test from here in the UK, but for some reason it's not showing in my reports. I want to make sure all is a-ok before promoting the offer.

  I think they block the ones they know about.
  
  Delete all your cookies, click the link and then see if a cookie was added. See if clicks are showing up too.

The CPA companies don't like cloaked URLs. If they detect that you're using one, then they won't give you any commission on the conversion.

  @O0o0O Thanks for the advice.. I tried it without a cloaked link and still nothing... I was using a proxy though.. it's the only way for me to test.
