    EZA upload agreement says:
    Photo must be actual photo of YOU or have YOU in the photo

    So, no.

      For many people, this is the key clause which enables them to portray themselves in a "photo" without readily being recognisable. Just saying.

        Were not all as photogenic as you are... Just saying : ) . Anticipating your appearance on "Top Models".

        For those that feel more comfortable with an actual photo, I've uploaded one in my profile area. - Cheers

          Ezine has clear guidelines stating that the photo should be yours or should have you in the picture

          BTW, why do you want to put some photo in which you are not there?

          thanks

            thanks everyone
            i get that they want the picture of you there. but with people that have more than
            1 niche and they have multiple pen names, how do you manage the picture side of it

              The options are ...

              (i) Don't use pictures (they're not compulsory);

              (ii) Use similar pictures for different pen-names and hope nobody notices (they might well not, unless your niches are closely related, but if any were closely related you'd perhaps be using the same pen-name for them, anyway?);

              (iii) Use drawings/sketches/cartoons (there are people on Fiverr who'll make them from a photo) which makes you even less recognisable.

  • Of course, you could also ask yourself: "How do they know that isn't me in the picture?"

    I actually thought about starting a similar thread a few weeks ago after our recent discussion about whether or not using pen names was acceptable/ethical. The results were split about 50/50, I think, but for those who think it's alright to use a pen name, then why not a 'pen photo', as well?

      Astonishing. Only 50% disagreed with me ... :p

      I suspect that from EZA's perspective, this is simply a pragmatic issue: if they require pictures to be "of the author" they can't have many copyright problems.
