I have put together an up-to-date list of article directories here: 1182 Known Article Directories - from Tech Central Publishing If your directory is not on the list, add it at the bottom of the form. If you find a bad directory, flag it for removal. I hope you find the list useful. Bill |

Wow. Thank you for the list! I am just wondering whether it is worth submitting to a large number of directories, or whether it is best to stick to a few good ones. I have had much better results from ezinearticles, searchwarp etc, than the smaller directories.

I think the most powerful use of article directories is to get a diversity of links from a diversity of domains. I certainly don't pursue putting my own articles on all article directories, but I do like putting each of my articles on about 50-100 directories or so, each. Very few of the directories catch all of my articles... In fact, no directory catches all of my articles. But there are ten or so directories that catch at least 80% of my articles. Those include: thephantomwriters.com isnare.com ezinearticles.com goarticles.com articledashboard.com articlebase.com website-articles.net articlestars.com articles4reprint.com techcentralpublishing.com My strategy is simple. I don't want google looking out there and seeing all of my articles on all of the same websites every time. So, I make an effort to rotate where I might place those articles. Bill |
