Question--about 2500 directories

I was told earlier today in a post that this guy had a free tool that submits to 2500 directories. Does anyone have a clue what this "FREE" tool is?

    I think it might be this one.

    They're url directories. It's very close to worthless, I think: you'll be very lucky if you get 30 PR-0 backlinks to stick, out of it.

    Backlinking requires a qualitative approach based on the relevance of the pages on which the backlinks appear.

    2,500 url directory backlinks, even if they all stuck, would be worth no more than 2,500 article directory backlinks, i.e. "the lowest of the low" and really of very, very little value: typically one would need something between 50,000 and 100,000 of these backlinks to confer the link-juice equivalent to one backlink from a relevant authority-site. But the person who mentioned to you a free tool to submit to 2,500 directories doesn't know that - and, worse, won't believe it if you try to tell him.

      Ok thanks for that. Much appreciated. I did find a site that will cost you 19.00 for 1 Site (1000 Submission) - $9.95 auto submission So would this work better?

        I think the site mentioned above is so bad that almost anything is "better". But maybe only very slightly.

        It's not about quantity.
