“Aye, and I saw Sisyphus in violent torment, seeking to raise a monstrous stone with both his hands.
Verily he would brace himself with hands and feet, and thrust the stone toward the crest of a hill, but as often as he was about to heave it over the top, the weight would turn it back, and then down again to the plain would come rolling the ruthless stone.
But he would strain again and thrust it back, and the sweat flowed down from his limbs, and dust rose up from his head. ~ Homer, The Odyssey
We have all heard the saying, try try try again and then try some more on this forum and many others of its ilk, but when is the point where you admit to yourself that your current actions are doing you no good and you have to try a different channel?

Have you ever reached that point?

Have you ever been at that point were no matter what you do currently works, that you have to attack the problem from another angle and how did it work out for you?

I am not condoning that anyone should ever quit, but if something patently is not working where is the harm in coming at a problem from another angle or even stepping away from it entirely and looking at it anew?

There is no reason that you should do thousands of articles, or millions of backlinks or just another page that no one will ever read...

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results ~ Albert Einstein
When was the last time you hit an insurmountable problem and had to come at it from a different direction, and more importantly...were you successful?

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it.

I had to make a change recently. I did what a lot of other people do early on - I picked the "work from home" niche, which totally wasn't working out for me. There came a point where I had to admit to myself that I was failing and I had to tear down everything I had built and start over. Whether my new direction is successful remains to be seen, but I'm definitely learning a lot along the way, and I'm not sorry I changed directions.

Making money here and there on the net is fairly easy.

It is consistency that is strength, in anything.

If it is an "older" person that is making money on the Internet, that didn't grow up with the Internet and computers, then you should be proud of any accomplishment you have made.

    Younger people... "know thine enemy".
