What is Aweber? And can I do this with it?!

Aweber is probably the most used email marketing service today. If you are serious about internet/affiliate marketing, get it. However you can get a free autoresponder as a wordpress plugin, but this limits what you can actually do. Aweber give you much more control and a more professional look for your email campaigns.

Aweber is a service that allows you to professionally manage your email marketing. It is well known, has been going for years and is very well respected. But as bobby said, there are alternatives.

Yes, you can use it to build a list of people interested in the weight loss niche. They will need to be opt-in subscribers for you to use the Aweber service. They have strict anti-spamming policies (and quite right too)

AWeber is a paid autoresponder service which in my opinion is a must-have for any serious internet marketer. You can use their services to build up a list of targeted prospects and then follow up with those prospects with good content, building trust and at the same time you can present them with solutions to their problems.

The reason I prefer AWeber to other autoresponder services is the great customer service. They regularly post good content on their blog to teach you how to use their features better and they offer a 30 day trial for only $1... so why don't you just give it a go and discover the benefits and ease of use for yourself?

If you want to build a list of subscribers and them communicate information and offers to them, then you will need a service like aweber. There are however others in the space but aweber is probably at the top of the heap.

The reason you'd want to use it is to build a list of highly targeted leads. I see that you're interested in getting into the weight loss niche, as a heads up that niche is super competitive but that doesn't mean you can't build a list and make some money with it. Any niche that is saturated is usually and almost always very lucrative! So you'd better be ready to cash some checks! haha

Quick Tip: Go ahead and hit up your local store, find an Entrepreneur or Inc. Magazine, for the most part they usually have free $50 Facebook advertising coupons in the back of them. So buy the magazine, then apply that coupon code to your facebook advertising campaign. I would suggest going with PPI (pay per impressions) rather than PPC (pay per clicks) just so you can get the most out of your buck. Target a select audience like people who enjoy ice cream, fast food, etc. The reason I say that is because that is the demographic who is most likely over weight and will join your list on emotional impulse, and in the end run will be more likely to purchase one of your products or an affiliate product you're promoting.

Please Remember! Blasting your list is a sure way to make some quick sales right off the bat, however if you actually ease your list into a relationship with free content, and free weight loss tips and genuine value, when the time is right to actually say "Hey buy my product " they'll be more than happy to since you have helped them out prior to that.

You can indeed use them for a weight-loss mailing list, but you'll have to build the list yourself: AWeber only provide the platform - they won't attract prospects and build your mailing list for you.

Professional email service providers (like AWeber) have a few advantages over self-hosted solutions. The biggest being that they typically offer better deliverability rates due to their IP addresses being white-listed by many anti-spam organisations/networks, ISPs and so on.

Since signing on to Aweber, I have been able to create a very large list using their easy to use form templates. They also back you up with training and different articles to enable you set up quickly.

Aweber is a tool that will allow you to communicate with your list ( customers, subscribers, potential etc.) by email.

Aweber has a good reputation in the Internet Marketing industry, but they are not the cheapest.

I have used aweber and honestly since finding Mailchimp.com it is so much better and FREE for most users. The free account has way better features and I can send 12,000 emails per month.
