To The Forum Moderator Or Anyone That Can Answer This..

I am new to the whole WSO process and Warrior for hire stuff.. and need some feedback before I create any service/offer.

I am not sure what the rules are in regards to creating a thread whose only purpose is to get feedback on the service I will be providing. I feel I need to offer 2 to 3 "reviews copies" of my service and put it through its paces, before I create a WSO for it.

Thanks in advance.

cheers,

ej

    EJ,

Post an offer asking for reviewers in the reviews section. Note the qualifications of a useful reviewer and be clear on what the product is. Be prepared for public comments, whether positive or negative.

There really isn't a dedicated area for that sort of thing. Lately I've been telling people to post them in the Product Reviews section, because that's as good a place as any, or you can try the JV Forum.

Another thing that some people do is just go ahead and start the WSO, and announce that the first x number of copies are free review copies in exchange for honest feedback.

    Nicely said Paul.

Plus there are already a couple of WSOs that teach you how to set up a great WSO. WSO secrets is one of the best, even though it is a bit old.

Plus, I would recommend grabbing the WSO Pro service, it is worth the price.

NOTE: I am not affiliated with either of the above.

Thank you all for your quick response! I'll check out the review section. At this point I am not ready to offer a full WSO on this because I don't even have the pricing down yet, to offer. So I figure handing out a couple reviews will allow me to work out all the time frames and get my process down pat before opening the doors to many hopefully it will be many LOL.

    thanks again..

I had a questions similar to this one earlier regarding the best way to obtain reviews.

In the product review section it states that the product owner can't start a thread about his/her own product. What section should I post the request for reviewers?

That rule is for products already for sale. The recommendation to ask in the reviews section is for stuff that's not already commercially available. It's a kludge, to allow people ways to get reviews and feedback without using one of the other discussion areas.

Post the request in the product reviews section. You won't get any trouble over it, unless it starts to look like a stealth ad.

          Paul, I didn't realize that tidbit...Thanks!

Would you be willing to Brain Storm with me in order to put together the
          Warrior's Handbook? I own the WarriorsHandBook.com url.

I'm thinking that Senior Warriors(ie, Mods here)could answer questions that
have been asked in the past. Other facts could be included as a Bonus.

I don't need/want to earn from the product. I just think it would help new
          marketers transition into the WF.

It could also lighten the load on Mods here in the long run by answering
questions that are repeatedly asked. Just a Thought.

          Thanks,
          Have a Great Day!

PS, No hard feeling either way. Just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

      Michael,

Might I make the suggestion that you charge at least a nominal fee for your guide when it's done? That way more people might actually read it.

After all, there are a number of stickies that cover the majority of the crap we see every day and by their viewing numbers, they're ignored by most.

Hmmm.... maybe we should charge to see the "secret files" of the WF?

Bet more people would read the stickies then!

        Not at all.

I would not work on anything like that specific to this forum if it was going to be offered through any venue but this forum, or at any price other than free.

You do understand he said "No", right?

            Just checking.

He didn't say no he just said that he wouldn't work on it unless it was freely offered to the WF and the WF only.

              If I read it correctly.

Don't put words in my mouth, Luke. It ain't sanitary.

Let's put it this way... Allen built up the Warrior brand over a long time, and with a lot of effort. I'm not really excited about helping other people ride on it.
