Do autoblogs sell in Flippa?

Hey guys..

I am having an autoblog which makes me $200 per month in autopilot.

It has been making the same amount of money for the past 3 months.

I have decided to flip it.

I wanted to ask this question..

Would people hesitate to buy autoblogs in Flippa even when it is earning a good solid income?

Thanks!

I buy autoblogs from time to time in Flippa. From a buyers perspective, what I look for is how the blog is fed, ie: how truly "auto" is it. However that variable is secondary to income earning/potential.

If the AB is earning, I don't mind putting an outsourcer on it, I can ramp it up and then flip it again myself. In short, if its earning it should sell

      Nice..So what do you suggest?

Should I develop more autoblogs or blogs with 3-4 posts?

I am planning to flip all of them..that is my idea..

And I am good at SEO..so ranking blogs ain't a problem..

Given the choice, I find people will always go for the perceived "easy and earning" more so. Therefore I would go for the AB option and flip them

Yes, any site that makes money and that too regularly over a period of 3 to 6 months will normally sell on Flippa.

I would say flip one and see how it goes.

John Lengehan, (apologies if I just butchered the spelling of your surname, not at my desk here) a warrior here, had a great WSO last year on practical, sensible tips to add huge value to sites when flipping them, thus ramping up perceived value. If you look for him it might still be around.

I would say that it would sell in Flippa. Just give it a shot.

I have seen many Autoblogs being sold on Flippa, some without any revenue as well. Since your blog is actually making money, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to sell it for a good amount of money

Flippa is basically FILLED with Autoblogs for sale. I always stay away from them as I do not agree with them and think they will eventually get nuked by google.

You can definitely sell it though! At $200 per month you should pull in between $1000 and $2000 on Flippa!

    - A good rule of the thumb is to sell it for 8 to 10 times its monthly revenue. You can put a reserve on Flippa so you wouldn't sell for anything less than its worth..

    - Gather some screenshots for the earnings in the past months. Generally, the longer your site has been earning (6 months, at least), the higher the price it will fetch for

If its doing well and you want add more original content you can always have a blog writing service produce posts for you. It will add to the quality of the posts and cost less than what you are taking in.

    WaterMyBlog is a good one.

If you can provide proof of earnings and proof good traffic. You can assume the site will sell like a hot cake.

      Hi there,

What exactly is an autoblog? Is it different from Wordpress or is it just a blog that "works on autopilot?"

      Thanks in advance

As had been said before, i've seen a fair few autoblogs sell on Flippa - especially ones that have proof that they are making money.

    Good luck with your auction!

If you can show that your blog has been making steady income for the past several months, people would be willing to buy it. I know people who have bought those sites on Flippa. And yes, they have made a lot of money from it.

I've never used an autoblog, it seems that quite a vew people on this forum use them.I have a other methods of monetizing and getting traffic. Just curious though, how much do autoblogs usually sell for? $40-$100 maybe?
