What are disclaimers and TOS pages you NEED to have on your sales page?

I see most clickbank products in our niche with a big disclaimer page and a ToS, but it seems to vary, as the GSniper site doesn't appear to have anything at the bottom.

I'm wondering what do you need to have on your page to protect yourself and your product?

There are several privacy policy plugins that will provide your site with some sort of protection and meet basic requirements of search engines. However, the only way to do this 100% properly is to talk to have your lawyer create your TOS/Disclaimer/Privacy Policy.

    Disclaimers:

It depends on what you are selling and what you are representing in your sales letter.

I like to take a two-pronged approach. For example ...

First, go broad. There are no promises a certain amount of money will be made blah blah blah.

Second, go specific. While I have set forth a roadmap for increasing Adsense money made from websites once someone is at a website, I also had to generate targeted traffic to my websites, a process which is not covered in this ebook. My results are from websites in particular niches and may not be replicated in different niches.

Is it a good/bad idea just to swipe them from a popular/successful product and modify it accordingly?
