Biggest hurdle and how to conquer it?

A beginner, I feel that getting traffic is the biggest hurdle. Of course, I'm still learning and am trying different ways. One of the ways is just spreading the word by commenting on other blogs, for example.

    You are right traffic is the key for conversions.
    Make sure that your onpage SEO is extremely targeted to your product and the keywords you are pursuing
    When it comes to offpage SEO, you need to do consistent backlinking, by blog commenting, article writing, .gov and .edu posting, social media marketing such as twitter will also get you traffic as well.

      Hey webwriter

      How many different traffic generating techniques do you know of?

      There are heaps and heaps out there.

      First you have a quick look at all the different types there are. Write them down
      Then you d a little re-search on each one.
      Have no doubt but that some will jump right out at you, corresponding to your skill set and interests, and THEY are the ones you will want to fucus on. It's like a filtering process.
      Then simply educate yourself on these particular techniques and impliment them

      And Like Yury said, BE CONSISTENT

      Consistency and persistence are the key.

    Yes traffic is the biggest hurdle... even for me!

    You just need to know how to get it, and persevere to get it.

    My favourite traffic source that I recommend to newbies: Youtube.

    My recommendation for traffic is social media like facebook, twitter etc...

    Yes, internet marketing is nothing without traffic. There are dozens of ways to generate traffic, but which method you use really depends on what you are trying to target.

    I still having difficult getting constant traffic to my site as well. Somedays I can almost reach 100 visits a day, and then others might be as low as 20 visits a day. Persistance will be your strongest weapon in driving traffic overnight, because you will face road blocks.

    Actually there are tons of information about traffic all around. But its tough to actually do it and get well at doing it as it takes time and effort. So, the biggest hurdle is yourself. If you put in 100% effort and give what you do some time, find solutions and make the connections within yourself... eventually you will be able to master getting traffic.

    To keep going is the best skill i've learnt!

    Perseverance and doing different things and keep tweaking things and going in lots of directions is the way to go. Let me say being a near newbie not easy either. Keep in there and keep going. Im doing article marketing and blogging and yes there is work.
    Just work out what is paying you best.
