... Including Nanacast.com :-(

With a major registrar going down this must be effecting hundreds of thousands of sites.

Wonderful...I have 200+ domains with them. What is happening?

Edit. My sites are still up. I do not have them hosted with Moniker though. I just cannot access my domains.

  • And none of you got any kind of pre-notification?! I would be sick if I lost 200 domains.

Do you know if they are out of business? Or got hacked? Or what?

Hey google did well, this thread is #1 for "moniker DNS down +2011" already.

doesnt help my domains, but very quick indexing.

  • I notice this isn't the first time they've gone down. Seems to happen to them a couple of times a year. You guys might want to consider transferring your domains if/when they come back online.

Moniker is down again. The last one they said was "emergency maintenance."

Sounds like a bad registrar to be honest.

They are very popular among domainers (domain investors) and are often used to securely hold domains. They are one of the most popular registrars.

      We switched to http://www.dyndns.com/

We were looking at Amazon Route 53 but they had some sort of loop issue in their signup process and we needed a solid solution so that we could get off Moniker.com dns

dynamic dns has a great reputation for scalability as well.
