Canadian Amazon Affiliate

I have a canadian amazon affiliate account but am I allowed to use and make an american amazon affiliate account? I ask this because the canadian amazon has a limited amount of products to sell and I would really like to be able to get the variety that amazon.com provides.

EDIT: Is making a page JUST for amazon products bad for SEO. Heard that a poor quality page now hurts your entire site because of Panda. Also am I allowed to have adsense and amazon products on the same page?

Looking at your profile, it looks as if you're from Canada too, so how exactly does it work? Do I need a US bank account or can I just use a canadian financial institution like RBC?

I have it set up to receive a check for payment, direct deposit into your bank account is not available outside the US,there is a $15 fee if you were receiving a check within the US but since the direct deposit is unavailable outside the US the fee is waived.

Yes you can use adsense and amazon on the same site, it may effect your amazon ctr though so test without adsense also.

First, it is always best to market to the US market with Amazon.com. You can also add the Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer plugin (free) with your Canadian tracking ID but it only works if Amazon.ca has the same product (ASIN number) - I have had a number of book sales this way.

Regarding banking use a US dollar account (RBC for example) as it makes it easy to deposit your monthly Amazon US dollar cheques. As mentioned above that is no fee for cheques from Amazon.

Remember you must register individually with Amazon Canada and Amazon US and that their commission structure is different and payments are separate.
