A fb fanpage strategy

Thought i'd share this with you guys and girls....

if you have a fanpage, and want people to comment on your fanpage so their friends can see it and possibly join, then try posting this comment as a game:

"Game Time: Last person to comment below will win Page Admin status! All you have to do is be the last person to comment on here! 3, 2, 1.... GO!!"

and then you post the first comment saying:

"haha, im first "

It works an absolute treat, you'll get bombarded with comments and it'll add loads of people to your fanpage!

Enjoy!

    Yes, it'll probs add that 'novelty' factor to it. I've never looked into fan pages so don't know much about them. Might create one for my business when I have the time.

    Look's good I think I might do something like it but change the prize, can a fanpage be set up for a blog?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[4067162].message }}
    • Yes there are applications which can be added, let me know if you can't find one.

    Cool but can't use everytime & on every fb fan page....
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[4067421].message }}
    • Why not? I can't see any reason why it cannot be repeated, if you have same audience then you just change the prize.

    Clever Idea...

    I'm gonna give it a try in just a minute and see what happens...

    I think the more value on the prize may add to the amount of comments, as well...

    Nicolas,

    I bet, if you use the idea, but just change it around a little bit to fit what you do, it "may" work...

    After all, if you try and it doesn't work, you only lose a few minutes it too you to post the fb message...

    but...

    if you don't try it, you could be losing a lot more than the thirty sends it takes to type it...

    Just a thought : )

    There are better options in getting more likes thus increasing comments on your fb fan page.

    That method that you suggested will only work for some pages. I don't think it would work for professional business pages. Maybe you should check out feverr or something.
