Customer management software?

Is there something anyone can recommend in here for client management? Basically for sales people, reminding them to follow up - or to send friendly emails. Something that helps us keep a relationship with our clients and doesn't leave any slipping through the cracks.

I searched a bit but I figured you guys are pretty quick with the knowledge, might as well get first hand experience.

    Have you looked into Basecamp.

    I manage all of my clients and subcontractors with Basecamp.

    It's pretty reasonable and very easy to work with.

    Yes many options are available and I am very familiar with these.

    Salesforce.com is the Big Daddy, they have been around for years and initially it was mostly for med. and large business. But now the have a "Contact Manager" edition that might be good for what yoou are looking for ( 7 days trial)

    You may also want to take a look at BatchBook that is mostly for small business. ( 30 days free trial available)
