Thanks for all that reply! If a person is a "newbie" and has 6 months to create an income to replace their current income ($3,500 monthly), what is the best way? CPA, Product Creation, Clickbank, ?

And...

What is the best way to start or approach the method that is the best ?

Again, thanks for all that reply.

Joey

I say start off with CPA and clickbank offers. Build your list and then start creating your own products to sell to that list.

Finding a Method that is best for you and stick with it. If you want to get good at affiliate marketing go for it... Steadily promote 1 product, master 1 or 2 ways of marketing. Then once you see results you can release your own product about what you did to create those results.

CPA sounds really good but just like everything else, you need to work on it daily to reach your goal.

There is not one answer to your question. It depends on what you like and what you are good at. These two things are the pillars of your success.
However, even more importantly you should choose one method (that feels right for you) and stick with it. Don't jump from one method to the other.
      Remember: LESS IS MORE!

I wish you fun and success!

It depends entirely on their existing skills, knowledge and especially their aptitude, Joey. What's appropriate and practicable for one person might be totally inappropriate and far-fetched for another, and vice-versa.

I don't mean it dismissively, at all, but nobody can advise you on what's most likely to be appropriate for you, without knowing a lot more.

Good luck JoeyAnthony! Im sort of in the same boat, although im not aiming that high for only 6 months out. If I can get half that in a year I will be happy. My main goal right now is building my site(s) and learning ways to build traffic, especially targeted traffic before I attempt to monetize anything. As a software developer, the technical things are the easy parts, relatively speaking, at least for me. For me, building websites is easy, not so easy is identifying the different steps and strategies that get you from website - to money making website.

        Hey Guys!

Thank you sooooo much for your replies. They are well received and points I have taken. I just wish I could find a mentor to work with or someone to mastermind with, learn from. A mentor would be nice! There is so much information and money I've wasted on **** that was useless. It leaves a person not able to trust and no idea where to begin . I am an actionable type of person who if taught will take action immediately and run with it.

        Again, thanks for the replies.

Hi Joey, I can see your dilemma.

As I'm in the UK, I could recommend 2 or 3 very good and trusted ones, but unlike me, they probably sleep at night (it's 4.28am here).

However I can wholeheartedly recommend on such brilliant (yes I said brilliant) one in the colonies. He is English, but lives in California.

I've just started a new blog, and my recommendations of him are the only published posts there so far. Just read the post, it's very brief.

You can find a link to my main site by clicking on my name, but this one is mainly concentrating on saving money to get started.

This guy is relatively new (2 years), but he's made a stack and he and his organisation (organization) cannot be faulted.

Simply connect here, and you'll find him. If you decide to join, I would appreciate you sign up from my site. I'm trying to make a few dollars too.

Good luck with your new venture. Stop Buying Junk! We've all done it.

          Alan

I would say go for affiliate marketing, identify a niche, pick some affiliate products to promote on clickbank, and set up a website. What you are doing here accomplishes two important things - you are taking action immediately and this will allow you to know whether the niche you've picked is a profitable one. If it is, then gradually you can start creating your own product in the niche if you wish, but I'd say test out the market first. And affiliate marketing is one of the cheapest and fastest ways to do this because you don't have to worry about creating the product yourself.

The income won't be a problem if you choose a niche and a strategy and really stay focussed, set goals and targets, don't get sidetracked because that takes your energy in too many directions and you don't achieve results.

I'm sorta in the same boat. I lost my job back in March and have been trying to go full time doing this. My sites are struggling and I'm just not quite getting it to function yet, but I know that in time I will. In the meantime, to try and close the gap I've been offering services. That's moving in the right direction, but I want automated income to keep the bills paid.

Good to see this question and answers. It keeps me motivated! Good Luck with your endeavors. Too bad you aren't in the Portland, Or area or I would meet with you and we could struggle together!

Whatever you choose go for it 100% and dont look anything else, make goals and discipline yourself. That is what I had to learn, to not get distracted by other stuff coming through and just keep your head down and go for it.

It's really a matter of finding you are at your core, else you will find yourself sabotaging yourself. Are you on the Marketer, or Product Creator side of the fence or both.

Like I have always been a product creator. So while I did make money at an affiliate, it was hard pressed to keep interested in it, and scale it enough that I could rely on it full time.

Generally speaking as much as I like burning bridges for motivation, I would encourage you to have fallback plans, where you can hedge your bets.

While a winning solution is a mix of traffic of buyers and converting products.

Generally I'd recommend start with traffic in a established niche first, preferrably one you know a little about and care about, as without being able to get traffic you are nowhere.

Then split test different offers (e.g. clickbank) to figure out which landing page works best, then work on creating your own competing product

I would start by doing a very thorough reading of everything on here. See where you can make money. See where your strengths are and look for the best prices to outsource the rest. There a huge variety of mentors and strategies on here, just pick the one that fits you.
