Sure many of those aren't the best pluggins but some of them are real gems, I wouldn't go without some of those.

Dude that's what forums are for!

You get something to comment about, and a crappy list is refined into a shorter and better list.

I'm not claiming to have tested each of these plugins, but these are the ones people have recommended across the web.

It is up to us to find out which are the best ones based on the experience of the WF members!

Interesting list. Some of them are definite must-haves. Others, not so much.

hey guys be nice. he's just trying to share a list.

i will be looking through all those and try them out since i've just started out. i think i will copy/paste the list and omit as necessary.

    Thanks for the list.

Thanks for sharing. The list has some good plugins. For my blogs I never use more than 5-8 plugins since having lots of plugins on a single installation can slow down the site.

Thanks for the list. It's probably not advisable to install all 180 though I might try, just for fun!

There are several plugins listed for the same function eg SEO.
Why not just go to wordpress.org and see the full list?
Is the list based upon your personal experiance?

Sounds like a good way to get your server to shut down!

Just stick to a few basic plugins... a quick Google search for what you need should be enough. Contact Form 7, All in one SEO, privacy policy, W3 cache, commentluv, are just a few off the top of my head.

Nice list - thanks for posting.

What I don't see is any 'Print Post' plugin.

I used to use Lester Chan's 'Print Post' plugin, but he is no longer supporting it and it doesn't work with the latest version of Wordpress. I have never come across one that was as clean and professional as his.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good 'Print this Post' plugin?

Sure wish Wordpress would build this feature right in to the theme!

      Hey Val!

The Mystique theme has this feature. Can't you extract the code? It's a free theme!

Are there any free alternatives that offer features similar to SEOpressor? I use All in One SEO, but thats for the input and not so much gauging where your post currently stands

This kind of lists are completely useless.

You will never ever need most of those plugins. Only ignorant users install plugins for the sake of plugins...

Look at your site/blog - decide if you need any additional feature or functionality, and find the plugin for it (if exists). Otherwise do NOT install plugins. It is that simple.
