Getresponse Users - Can you email people who didn't open Your emails?

Is it possible in Getresponse to email people who didn't open one of your emails? If so, how do one do it?

I know this can be done with Aweber but not sure about Getresponse.

Cheers,

Jan

    Hey Jan,
I use GetResponse and of course you can e-mail to whoever you want. I mean don't understand the feature of AWeber? How it works? How can you make somebody to open your e-mail?

    Best regards
    George

      What I mean is this.

Say you send out an email to your list and let's say 40 people opened the email and the other 100 didn't open the email. In Aweber you can go back and send a new email about the same subject to the 100 people who didn't open the first email.

I'd like to know if that can be done in Getresponse.

      Cheers

The reason for such high open rates is only because those who don't open my emails get deleted.

                  Jan,

I can't comment on GetResponse, but just wanted to mention that even with Aweber, this facility isn't all it's cracked up to be, because no autoresponder can monitor the open rates of people opening plain-text email, only HTML versions.

(It's true that if someone opens a plain-text version and then clicks on a link it it, that can be monitored ... but unless they're sending HTML-format only, nobody's "open rate figures" are ever accurate).

Seriously, open rate does not concern me at all. My focus is always keeping my lists clean, and any inactivity including unopened emails is just another screening out process among many others.

Absolutely; all unopened email does get deleted. However, as mentioned, there is no truly effective way of tracking open rates in text email. Some marketers put a 1x1 pixel image for tracking, but this stage is not worth the bother for me. My autoresponder messages include a clickable link, and if there is no activity over any 30 day period, the subscriber is automatically culled from the database. I just like to keep things clean and simple.

Yes you can do this. Go to 'Campaign List' option. Create a new list segment with rule "Match All > Message Not Opened > Broadcast > Select your message". Save it.

Then create another newsletter or select previously sent newsletter and while selecting recipients in 3rd or 4th step; select this newly created list segment. Once the emails have been sent, you can either delete or can further create a new list segment who didn't opened the first email plus the resent email...

    Hope that helps
