Default Why Is There Nada on My Stats? Urgently Need Some Warrior Help Here Please...

Hi all,

I've been submitting unique content to my blog and it's doing ok. I've got about 7 pages up and 2 or 3 of them are on page 2 for their particular keyword.

I've also done some posting to ezinearticles and my stats are decent. The best article has about 70 views within the past one week.

I've also done other backlinking like submitting articles to other article directory, social bookmarking and rss submissions.

I get my visitors' stats from Google analytics and so far, my blog has a high of 18 visitors but the past few days, it has only received about 2 visitors. My blog has only been up a month.

Mine is a Wordspress blog and I do submit to a few pinging sites.

Can somebody tell me what's wrong? I have a thought that it could be because my blog's front page is a static page. Does this makes sense? Otherwise, what could be the problem?

Need some warrior help please. Thanks in advance.

Lydia

Lydia, nothing is wrong

You are seeing the traffic "surge" when your articles go live and they get that initial rush of visitors for various reasons. When the articles are a couple of days old and can no longer be found on the front page of EZA or in the "other recently submitted" category, the only way that they can be found is through the search engines.

If your articles are not yet ranking in the SERPS and your blog isn't ranking on the first page, then you might not see consistent traffic. This is why it is important to continue to get your articles published and to work on your backlinking. In the end doing those things will get you the steady traffic and sales that you want.

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for the reply. Phew! I was a bit worried there. Got a bit discouraged and didn't know what to do. What do you think I should do now? Concentrate on my backlinking strategy or post blog posts more regularly or both?
