Can anyone tell me A website that can Give me A estimate on what my sites worth? Or can anyone just flat out tell me lol. Thanks for any help. ^^

    There are many free website value calculators on the internet, like glurk.com, websiteoutlook.com, smartpagerank.com, and more. But the real value of a website can't be estimated so easily, if you need an accurate result, you may need to pay for a professional estimate service.

    If you're talking about your domain name:

    1) Get an appraisal from sites like Sedo or Afternic. However, these appraisals are usually full of crap and are generally unreliable.
    OR
    2) Join DNForum.com or any other domain forum and ask someone there. People on these forums that focus on domains are generally very knowledgeable and are very experienced with this sort of thing.

    If you're talking about the entire site, then it's usually hard to place a value on a site. For example, how much is the Warrior Forum worth? Who knows? For simple sites like the ones that are listed for sale on sitepoint, the value is generally based on daily traffic and monthly revenue.

    I would stay away from those automatic website appraisal sites. They are mainly good for a laugh only. If you could post some details here, perhaps some warriors will be able to help you e.g.

    1. Age of site
    2. Page Rank and no. of backlinks
    3. No. of unique visitors per month for the past 6-12 months
    3. Net Income per month for the past 6-12 months
    4. Time needed to maintain the site.
    5. Type of site e.g. blog, forum, review site, info product site etc.
    6. Amount require to spend on advertising
    7. Hosting requirements and hosting fees per month.
    8. Any other costs such as payments to admins and moderators.

    As a reference, I would say the median going price is around 8-12 months revenue but many established go for much higher. It really depends on how others view you site's potential, especially whether you site is under-monetarized or not. Personally, I have paid thousands of dollars for sites earning literally nothing but was able to recoup the investment within months.

    Hey Dylan,

    You shouldn't rely on websites which will instantly tell you how much your website is worth, they are VERY inaccurate.

    There are a thousands things which go into determining the value of a website... As Derek said, age, income, inbound links, income potential, etc. are all major factors which determine your websites' worth.

    Personally, I'd hold onto a website for the long term... build a bit of traffic, drive the income up, build backlinks... then I'd be ready to go after the big payout.

      Thanks everyone I've looked at some of those sites and they all came to around 80$ lol but I don I think it's that much lol. I'm gonna keep working on my site and see what I can come up with so thanks for the help!

      In general small sites are worth 12x to 24x monthly income they are making. Online instant estimate are waste of time and if you want a real idea post yout URL and all stat in any good forum (Ofcourse Warrior) and you get free valuation.
